Robin is a pioneer musician who introduced Western style music to his community in Bangladesh (South East Asia) in the early 60s.
Robin formed in 1968 one of the first music band called, “Time-A-Go-Motion” in Bangladesh. Some of the band members including Robin are legends in Bangladesh, Pakistan and India for bringing and influencing the music arena and fans.
Robin also led another band (1975 through 1984) called “Windy Side of Care”. The band “Windy Side of Care” were featured at inter- continental hotel weekly in front of many elite and famous audiences. The popular Bengali song “Abar Elo Je Shonda was an early hit song produced by “Windy Side of Care”. Robin played the organ in the background for this song. Robin was a solo pianist in Sonargaon Hotel, a five star hotel of pan- pacific chain in Bangladesh. He was also a pianist in the American Club mainly for diplomats at Dhaka Bangladesh.
Robin moved to USA in 1989. He continues as a professional musician playing his music for various audiences. He often plays music for the elderly in many assisted living and senior citizen centers.
